Your work, your information
Privacy at Gingkoh
Updated September 15, 2026
Gingkoh is a platform for creating and publishing artist stores. This page explains the information we handle when you use the platform or visit a store.
Information we use
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and information needed to keep you signed in. If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares your basic profile information with us, including your name and email address. We do not ask Google for access to your mail, contacts, or files.
When you build a store, we store the pages, product information, images, videos, domain settings, and other content you provide. Published store content is public. If you submit a contact or newsletter form on a published store, we store the information you enter and your consent so that the store owner can view it.
When you buy from a store using Gingkoh checkout, we store an order record, the items and totals, payment status, store name, and the email address supplied at checkout. We use that email to send a transactional confirmation and a secret link to the hosted order receipt. If you choose to create or sign in to a customer account with the same email, you can attach that individual order to your account.
Cookies and local storage
Essential cookies keep accounts signed in and support store checkout sessions where connected commerce is enabled. We also use browser storage for editor and interface preferences. Gingkoh does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no optional cookie choice to manage.
Where information goes
Cloudflare hosts Gingkoh and its store data and delivers transactional order email. Google handles sign-in when you choose it. Stripe handles native store payment details; Gingkoh receives the resulting order, email, total, and payment status but does not store full card details. If a store owner connects another commerce service, checkout and customer accounts remain with that service under its own privacy terms. Store owners can read submissions sent through their published store forms.
Your choices
You can edit or unpublish your store content in the studio. You can also ask about access, correction, or deletion of your account information by emailing support@gingkoh.com. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, or operational reasons.
